"Art has opened me in ways that I am just now discovering; deep ways. I've spent much of my life being attracted to creating art and knowing at the same time that I was holding back out of fear of not making anything decent to look at/not having a technique base to work from. Here I am realizing just this month that my color palettes have been all wrong. I have begun to work beginning with a black canvas and suddenly I feel free to explore and create and I don't care at all about doing it "right". I feel free to play."

thanks for the opportunity. Art has saved my sanity during the past two post election weeks. I have found a voice of protest I didn't know was there. I also follow you on Facebook and your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is thru art that I am learning who I really am. 💕
ReplyDeleteArt has touched my heart (and soul) in a way that I barely know how to put into words, but I'll try. Before I discovered art journalling two and a half years ago, I never had any energy. all the vitality seemed to have left me and I felt like an empty shell of who I once was. I hated growing older, hated having to accept the fact that I will never again have fun in the way I used to as a teen and twenty-odd year-old girl. However, since discovering art journalling, everything is different. I can accept my age without any problems, I have a new eye for the beauty of nature and everything around me, and for the miracle that is life. So really art has touched my heart in an extremely important way and I am a far better and a wiser woman for having discovered it. Thanks so much for this opportunity to win a place, Hugs, Fiona
ReplyDeleteI have "liked" your FB page for an extra entry. Thanks again <3
ReplyDeleteOh and I am already subscribed to your Winged Love "love letters" <3
ReplyDeleteThis class is calling to me because as a relatively new artist (two and a half years) I am still trying to improve, find out new techniques and also I want to develop my own style. I paint mainly faces, and see that many of the guest artists are fabulous at this - I would dearly love to learn from them. Thank you again!

Art is my little escape, and with all things going on lately, both with the world and personally, any escapes are a good thing. Again, thanks so much for the chance to win!
(I wanted to follow your blog too...but I couldn't figure it out, lol)
Art has touched my heart in so many ways, the most profound change in my life is the gathering of kind loving artists that welcomed me with open arms. I have found my tribe and feel love and understanding when I spend time with other artists creating and sharing ideas. I can't imagine any other life for me, it is where I belong. I would love to take this class and immerse myself in the creativity of your collection of wonderful artists for an entire year! Denise~
ReplyDeleteGalia, thank you for this opportunity. I'm so grateful to you for this. Art has really been healing for me. It brings me to a place where I can dive much deeper within without even realizing it until I'm done painting something.
ReplyDeleteI have also shared about your Giveaway on my FB Page; Pinterest; Twitter, Google +; and I'm signed up for Winged Love and am subscribed to your blog also I believe.
I would love to see myself in this online class for the creative support that I find is missing for me. And of course to learn more techniques and processes from so many amazing artist/teachers. Thank you!! xo
Galia there is much ugliness of spirit in the world right now, and to help heal this we need to feel that there is beauty, kindness, love and compassion in the world too. Art helps this healing. It touches my heart... sometimes in a colour, an image, an idea, an expression of someone else's pain, sometimes for no discernable reason at all,{for example Mark Rothko's work, which moves me so much yet I can't say why}. We all have parts of us that need to be healed and art can help us.
ReplyDeleteThis class calls me because there are teachers *new* to me - and with new teachers I hope new inspiration and new beginnings will come.
Something I'd like to learn from you would be how to go deeper emotionally with my art, how to climb or break down the walls that can slow us down or stop us in our tracks, how to use our art to heal ourselves and how to express emotion within our creativity.
I've shared this blog post on Facebook and I already subscribe to your LoveNotes. .
Thanks so much for the opportunity to win a spot.

Art has touched my heart by allowing me to dig deep into my soul and process my feelings about the world around me; to express love, anger, joy, sadness; to cope with loss and heartache. Art is cathartic for me.
This course is calling to me because there are so many strong, inspirational women who will be sharing their gifts, and through that I hope to continue to grow as an artist.
Thank you for this opportunity!
The accomplishment and energy I feel when working on a painting I do not get from anything else. And the wonderful people I've met since taking an online class this year is extra special. We are all interested in the same thing! Thanks for a chance at the drawing.
ReplyDeleteArt has touched my soul over the years. When I first became disabled due to a painful nerve disease, art became my therapy and helped me learn to live with chronic pain and to make peace with not being able to continue working in a career that I loved. Art is a form of expression, experimenting, and a life line. I'm learning much from these online classes that are taught by a variety of talented artists! Thanks for the chance to win a spot!
ReplyDeleteThis class is calling me because Olga is one of my favorite artists. She has lined up a wonderful variety of talented artists to share their knowledge in this class. I love the class has a wide variety of topics to he taught, yet all topics tie together to create mixed media stories with my artwork. I'm very excited about this class.
ReplyDeleteArt allows me to express what cannot be said.
ReplyDeleteArt found me in 2016. I started painting and cannot stop. It fills my heart in so many ways. Hours just disappear. Things just magically appear and surprise me.
ReplyDeleteOMG! how art has touched me in my life. For years i watched in envy at the talent of artists and thought i wish i could do that. And i have started about a year ago....My life is so different, i feel inspired by things around me and other artists. I go into my very own peaceful place when creating. I am so glad i found art it has made my heart sing.
ReplyDeleteAs I get more and more clear about me and who I am, I am remembering that I have always been an artist, I am remembering how I sought solace in my paints and in drawing. It was a place I could feel the thread of connection without shame. These recent weeks have been an eye opening and soul opening journey as I rediscover the bits of myself left scattered.
ReplyDeleteArt touches my heart in the most profound way...it pours out onto the journal page or the canvas and always teaches me something about myself! What's really going on inside just seems to pour out onto the surface! It's the most amazing experience. Oh, and - I liked your FB page and signed up for your newsletter!! Three chances!! Fingers crossed!! My email: Brule.designs@att.net
ReplyDeleteDearest Galia... thank you so very much for your generosity. Art touches my Soul as it reconnects me to my essence... it is a gateway into accessing my deepest truths and inner wisdom, and to alchemize intention into affirmations. When I saw this class a few weeks ago, what called to me were the Spirit Animals that I feel are waiting to emerge, and which I believe this class will help me manifest. (ps: I am a subscriber to Winged Love, your facebook page and your blog...). With so much gratitude and love...
ReplyDeleteI also believe in magical things. I really love painting but still has a long way to go. I have deep feelings and are one of those who put my feelings into my art.

I was just telling my soul sister today, after spending the day creating, art is what keeps my sanity.☺️
I love to be surrounded with artists. I love faces, and it would be wonderful to learn the different style from the different artists in this workshop.
Beautiful offerings, Galia!

Art has been s part of my life for as long as I can remember. Recently, though, I have been caring for my aging parents and preparing to move so not much time for art making. Our new home has a studio for me! What a wonderful way to find myself again, with you and this class in my new home. My heart would be so full.
ReplyDeleteI love you for this offering. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Art allows me to know, and express, myself. It allows me to go deep into the mystery of myself and life. Art allows me to play, let go, have fun, heal, teach, and celebrate myself.
ReplyDeleteThis class is calling to me because the artists involved all create beautiful, accomplished artwork, and I'd love a chance to witness their process and dive into new techniques.
I've signed up for your newsletter too :-)

ReplyDeleteThis course is really calling to me I love to receive fresh art inspiration and teachings. Good luck to everyone <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for this opportunity. Art was my "love language" when I was a little girl. Since I could hold a pencil I started to draw and write, but it turned into a really meaningful thing when my father became ill. He and my mother had to leave the island where we lived in order to obtain the adequate medical treatment and I remained there with my siblings and aunt. I was only four (my father would die when I was about to have six) when I started to create "visual letters" for them, in particular, for him. Since then art has been to me a way to express myself and connect to others. Zena Toledo (please contact me via INSTAGRAM, thanks)
