An Elemental Giveaway

 And the winner is:

Thank you everyone who entered and shared the love. Xx

Today I'm delighted to be offering a giveaway of my mixed media journaling class: Calling in the Elements. It's a self paced, instant access class working through the elements to deepen our journaling practice hosted over at The Trodden Path.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment here and I'll write your name on a slip and toss it into my singing bowl from which I will draw a name in a week.

To increase the number of times I write your name you could do any or all of the following, just be sure to pop back and let me know in the comments:
  • share this competition or the class on your blog, twitter, pinterest, google or facebook page
  • subscribe to my newsletter in the side bar here.
  • like my facebook page (or invite some friends to)
  • Tell me why this class is calling to you
  • subscribe to this blog
I will pop back in a week to announce the winner, thank you and good luck.

  1. It is the art which draws me in but the voice which is the deciding factor in whether to join a course. You remained silent which was intriguing. I cast my name into the singing bowl with hopes for a seat.

  3. Dear Galia,
Your course looks wonderful. I love rituals and calling in the elements before creating, and would love a spot in your class. I don't know why I keep resisting art journaling in spite of feeling a strong call towards it. I feel your course would be the perfect opportunity to get to the other side of that wall...

  12. I would love to be entered in your drawing for this class! I work intimately with the elements in my drumming and in a drum circle I facilitate. I am always intrigued by different ways to draw closer to them, and I think this class would be a wonderful way to explore them visually. I have liked your facebook page and subscribed to your newsletter. Thank you! Lisa Dunn (dragonmom0517@bellsouth.net)

what calls to me is the freedom and flowing I see in the journal pages. I would love to be able to do that and not be so uptight with my journal artwork. I already have ideas flowing through (dragons - one for fire and one for water: I am a water dragon in Chinese Astrology) But then again during class my muse may show me something else LOL

  15. I've always felt a draw towards the elements in my art, I would love to explore this more fully :) I've now subscribed to your newsletter also. If fate wills it, my name will be drawn out, I do hope so! Thankyou.

  22. Working on my first book I would love to incorporate journalling imagery into each chapter and am intrigued to know more about this visually stimulating and creative artform. The elements offer us so much wisdom and power and teach us about humility and the sheer force of mother nature. Channelling this into our art we can offer up healing to others as well as honouring all that this wonderful planet offers us. <3

  29. What a beautiful class. I have reached a point in my life where there was a huge shift. I am only 42 and already empty nesting. Both my boys are in college and with how I was 200% part of their life it was really hard for this transition to happen without bumps. We are also a military family and my husband leaves me a lot so I wanted to take those moments and dig deeper into myself. Thank you for this offering. Crossing fingers. :) Have a great day. 34. Would love for this class to be the jumpstart I've needed to get back to art journalling ;) you are such an inspiring wonder Galia! I've subscribed to your newsletter, shared on my FB (I already like yours!), google+'d, tumbl'd and tweeted (as my blog is in great need of an update too, I will do my utmost to go there too, but fear it would be lost in space rather than grounded in the elements...) xoxo

  35. I would love to win this wonderful class as a gift. I've had a huge year of transformation and it would be amazing to end the year with some grounding in the elements. I'm particularly in need of air and water as I'm rather heavy in the earth and fire departments ;D I've shared your giveaway on G+, my FB profile and page, Twitter, and a post on my blog scheduled for tomorrow the 14th. I've also subscribed to your newsletter and your blog and joined the site. I was already a fan on FB, of course The Trodden Path ;) and have you in a circle on G+. Thanks so much for the chance to win and best of luck to everyone!

  41. What calls out? The birds, the concepts of ritual and meaning. Wondering where you get the vision for the stories you paint.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Journaling gives me creative freedom...there is no boredom... one day I can tangle...one day I can use a gelli plate...one day stencil... one day... tissue paper and deli paper... crayons, oil pastels, gelatoes, marker, spray inks, acrylics, watercolors, metallics, .... Who wouldn't like to do something that is as diverse as the world... Then I learn from you... you learn from me... it's all good.... and we both give to others... That's why I'm here.
    Thanks for reading.

  76. I would love to have a chance to win the gift of taking this class. It looks amazing. Your artwork is wonderful. I subscribed to your blog. This class is calling me because I have a deep connection to the elements, but in my artwork, there seems to be a disconnect between my self's connection to the elements and my art's connection to them. I think this class would allow me to deepen my connection to the elements and bring my awareness of them into my artwork. I also think it would be an incredible journey and an experience that I don't want to miss. Wendy
