New journal, new possibilities

mixed media art journalling
I've spent a few days putting together my new journal, a mish mash of what ever I could find,  from wall paper to beautiful water colour paper, from fabric to paper bags. Each variation a new possibility, a new challenge and a new inspiration, and together it all just looks yummy and inviting. Of course, once together, I couldn't resist working in it straight away (above is the first page, and below the inside cover).

    1. Thank you Michele, I love the contrast of the scruffy drop cloth (which falls apart if I so much as look at it) and the luxury of the velvet too. Already having fun working in it, I think it is going to be a Book of Faces at this stage since I've done 3 faces already- on a bit of a faces roll. But we'll see- no rules between the pages.

    1. Thank you Stephani, it was just for personal inspirations, but it seems to be filling up with faces so you never know. It is inspiring a class- more to come soon.

    1. Haha Chris, hence the fabrics, it was my Bali journal with its soft and well loved batiks that did it.
