I was looking through some of the photos I took in Canada for a specific request from a stock library and got some what distracted. The thing about taking so many photos when you travel is that it takes absolutely ages to work through them all. Sure, you pull out the obvious favourites straight away, but there is always a few that you know you want to come back to when you work out how to approach them and some that you didn't look at twice originally but some how peak your interest with the perspective of time, just as there are some you take which you think are going to be brilliant at the time of capture but on viewing you realise they just don't hold the magic you thought they would while an accidental magic shows up elsewhere. But all this is what makes photography exciting: finding something you didn't expect or that was lost in the recesses of your dreams and imaginings.
