Boris does the Masters

“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” Buddha
Boris has been on a bit of an artful adventure into Western art since landing in Australia. Firstly, he went off to see Mr Bunny (that's Rupert) at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, an unknown master of the Australian Art scene, and was nearly trampled by the crowds there to see George and Gilbert.

So inspired by Bunny's work that he decided to trek to Canberra to see the Masterpieces from Paris. He was so overwhelmed by all the beauty in the Post Impressionist exhibition, but of course he had his favorites. Firstly, Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhone, like a  magnet, drew him to it from the other room, commanding undivided attention. Such powerful and vivid beauty, rich deep colours and the brush work, oh the brush work. But it was the Monet's that quietly drew him back again and again as they woven their magic spell over him and gently wrapped him up in a cocoon of subliminal light and dreamy colours.
He also got to check out a bit of the local aboriginal art:
