I am a visual poet, earth mystic and mist walker. I walk in beauty dreaming with the divine to create sacred art and to partner with intuitive healing practices.
I’m a beauty unveiler, light huntress, moment caresser, mythologist, archetype weaver and visionary poetess...
1. Take the Batobus, take it during the day to get around and at night with the city gloriously lit up. Last time I was there the Seine was flooded and I missed being able to see Paris from this beautiful view, not to mention the wonderful convenience of being able to get around this way- the metro is fabulous but the view from the Seine is better.

2. Make a blessing at Notre Dame for her to be restored to her full glory. I had the pleasure of seeing her dusted under a veil of white magic not long before tragedy visited her.

3. Fromboise Fromboise Fromboise
If the raspberries are in season eat copious amounts of them- eat them fresh while you walk through the markets at Bastille or Marché d'Aligre (where you can find a particularly good pear tart- buy two and eat on the spot), eat them piled on top of pastries, eat them in jam on fresh baguettes, eat them plump and juicy- just be sure to eat them.

4. Palmier de Pistache
If you are in Paris on a Saturday, head to the Picasso museum. On a corner just near the museum is a little pastry shop that has the yummiest Palmier de Pistache- hmmmmmmm, only available on Saturdays. Be completely unFrench and gobble it up before entering the museum to fortify yourself for the genius that is Picasso (and friends). All pastries taste best whilst consumed standing in the street with your fresh purchase still in that moment of seduction from the shop window. Only eat pastries that talk to you, life is too short to waste time with pastries that don't speak to your soul.

5. St Regis
Head to my "local" on Ile de St Louis for a Viennoise de chocolat while people watching in the golden hour (if it is a Sunday afternoon half of Paris will pass you by). If you sit in my chair the view should look like this:

6. Light a candle for me at Sacré-Cœur, I'm sure you will, then head on off to see Valadon's studio at Musée de Montmartre.

I could send you to explore so much more and to eat many more delicious things (crepes with cider, wine, cheese, macaroons, I remember a frangipani and vanilla one to die for, and on and on) but I know you will wander down side streets and find your own treasures, perhaps losing yourself all the while. I look forward to hearing your discoveries when we next chat across the ocean.

Part of my my creative practice is trying to stay loose and free in my work. It is a backwards and forwards dance- too loose and it can feel messy and unrefined, too tight and it lacks energy and dynamics. When I heard that the theme for Paint Your Heart & Soul 19 is painting loose I was stoked- I LOVE teaching what I'm learning, teaching what inspires and engages me in my own practice.

For the first lesson we'll be doing some exercises to loosen up by interrupting our creative process and expanding our creative vocabulary. In the second lesson we'll be taking the ideas and inspirations that resulted in the first exercise to the canvas to create a piece that builds upon what we learnt- I can't wait to see where this takes us.

And that's just my two lessons- there are lessons from so many other teachers offering all sorts of lessons in this year long workshop. Take a look HERE
I'm giving away one place in Paint Your Heart & Soul
This year I've disappeared down the wonderful rabbit hole of Sacred Arts- 13 mOOns. We are nearly at the mid point, the perfect place to stop and pause.

So far we have explored:

Space Holding

Pacha Mama

Archetypes & Symbols

Bone Wisdom

Lunar Wisdom

Cycles

Not to give away too many spoilers, but in a few days, with the new mOOn, we will be diving into Creative Cycles.
Each
time I show up to the blank page or canvas it is to listen. Sometimes I
come with an enquiry, sometimes I come just to see what wants to be
heard, either way a dialogue unfolds and it is through this dialogue
that I create art, that I commune with spirit, that I meet myself.
Without this dialogue, this backwards and forwards dance of listening
and responding, my art practice lack meaning and my life wouldn't be so
rich. There is no separation between my life, my spiritual practice and
my art practice, all are entwined in this beautiful conversation when I
stay open to all the questions and all of the whisperings. My art
practice is a liberating act that allows me to access my deeper wisdom
and knowing- my bone wisdom.

During my 30 day Sketchbook Challenge I joked about taking my sketchbook into the wild. For the challenge I was confined to my desk as I was filming each sketch (you can find all the videos here). Naturally this made me crave being free of the desk and taking my sketchbook into the garden, onto my lap and out into the world. These things are easier said than done.

The practice of the "challenge" offers a framework of discipline which is not a natural state for me. My creative practice usually looks more free form, following the whims of the muses, working in a variety of mediums, on a variety of projects at anyone time, and allowing myself to be pulled down the rabbit hole when a project dances a frenzy and demands my full attention. Sometimes my creative practice feels like a wild horse ride blind folded. Really I have no idea where I'll end up.

The discipline of a "challenge" allows me to hone a skill in a way that my normal practice doesn't. It builds muscles and techniques in a particular domain which sustains that practice somewhat beyond the challenge.

So how do I keep the practice going beyond the "challenge" when my art
journal is calling, and my acrylic paints, my tarot journal and
knitting, sculpting and a new medium or two, not to mention the yoga
mat, bush walks, friends, travel, life- all of it?

For me it looks like allowing a spread to take a week if it takes a week, allowing a little bit when I can, or a lot when I can, it looks like ease and permission. It also looks like leaving my water colours and sketching materials spread out on the kitchen table just in case (while my art journal is spread out on my work table and a pile of books plays jenga at my bedside and so on- I'm sure it requires much patience from my beloved to live with a multi-passionate, multi medium artist). Some days I start a sketch and I may not lay paint down for a few more days, or, as in the image at the top here, I paint/sketch a little vignette in one corner and build the page out over the course of the week.

There are no rules, the practice requires only one thing- practice. That is showing up and doing "the work" and I do the work for the joy of it when and how I can. Sure I love the idea of working in my sketchbook daily, of growing my skill and style in that way, but since I also like the idea of working in my art journal daily, painting daily and hitting the mat daily and all the other things; until I learn to bend and stretch time I will continue to allow a whole lot of ease and permission around my practice being just what it is- a practice. Practice is the process itself. Life is a practice.

How do you manage your creative practice in all its fullness into your life with all its fullness?

In
this course we will be following the tradition of many great artists
and learning from those artists who came before us. We will be studying
under the tutelage of Redon, Gauguin, Mackintosh and Preston, all of
whom each have something unique and magical to teach us about painting
flowers. We will study their work, their methods and processes and then
we will be taking what we learn to produce our own pieces, to inspire
and develop our own craft and expression, to stretch our skills and
deepen our confidence. Learn more here

Recently I was asked to create a self-care plan. I kind of stumbled over the plan, imagining a schedule or timetable just didn't work for me. So I decided to base my plan on a set of principles or guides, to keep it adaptive and centered around the point- my needs, as they exist in any one moment, fluid and cyclic. What I need depends upon my energy to start with, the time of month and season, what is going on in my life and so on. I decided it would be more useful to have a way of connecting with these things, staying in dialogue with myself and what is needed and adapting as I go. My energy always varies a lot and I try to “run” when the stamina is there (this might be only in a particular domain) and rest when its not, trying to keep an even keel has never worked for me, its like trying to push things unnecessarily up hill. Here are the guides I’ve discovered to date (subject to change as I do). The intention is to stay in dialogue with what is needed with these as gentle reminders to drop in and see:

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Flow- follow the energy, work with the energy as it exists, paying attention and being flexible enough to course correct as needed. Check in with yourself and know your cycles. How does the moon effect you, your own moon, the seasons and weather, the climate (political and otherwise)? Where are the muses showing up and when? How does what you need change? How can you change with it and adapt to it? Am I present?
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">For me right now I am really feeling the effects of either the waxing or the waning moon and have come to make peace with this rather than trying to resist it.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Silence- I need both time and space for silence, a lot of it, introvert that I am- magic is birthed from silence as is deep listening- to yourself, to spirit and to others.
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">This is looking like much time off-line, including daily limitations and regularly scheduled weeks off, walks in nature, including cleansing in the local water holes and fountains and barefoot walking in the bush to earth, time in my studio, free play following the nudges, reading, old school, paper, time on the mat, especially in shavasana (some days I just go straight to shavasana).
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Do your own work- keep expanding and stretching your own mystery school, your own knowledge and understandings, finding your own path and walking it, knowing your own truths and speaking them.
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">For me this is a constant dialogue- within, with life, with spirit.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Nurture- What fills up your wells and nourishes and replenishes you? What gives you energy and joy? Where do you find, experience and embody beauty?
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">Creative practice- making things for the pleasure of making things.
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">Beauty- noticing the light, the new growth in the garden, music, art and literature.
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">Loved ones.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Know thy self- stay in dialogue with yourself- what do you need/want? how are things effecting you? This is the moment by moment seeing if you need sleep, water, silence, a hug, community as well as the bigger knowing of how you respond to various things, how much silence you need, how much community you need etc etc. I’m not a “tracker” in that I don’t keep logs and journals of this sort of thing but I do dialogue with myself a lot on this and look for distinctions and new ways to do/be more attuned to this. Its a matter of remembering to check in and ask/listen.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Embody- We are human beings having a spiritual journey and spiritual beings having a human journey and the body is our portal and our altar. Life is a moving prayer- move, dance, love, be still, feel.

Nourish- enriched and vital foods, noticing the effect on the body, adapting seasonally (ie lots of live salads and fruit in summer and soups and legumes in winter) and energy wise.
<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace;">Rest- I’m not good at napping but I’m practicing, early to bed.
I've been busy, the last few months, working away at birthing this new offering- Art is Magic's Creative Retreat. Pop over and take a look, there is an stellar line up of artists offering lessons, many that I've been dying to learn from and much inspiration. Come and join us.

Meanwhile, working in my sketchbook, for the challenge I did, kept my hand moving and creating while I worked away at designing a new website and collaborating with all these amazing artists.

I'm still loving working in my sketchbook. Its been a gentle and calming reprieve from my beloved art journals. There's this way that the process is ever so meditative, a moving meditation, that stills the mind and brings me present.

My lines are still shaky and uncertain, but I don't care. I'm watching how I place one shaky line down after another and soon I have an image- a quaint image of snippets of my life and full of humanity, the humanity of the uncertain hand that makes them and makes them anyway. The human touch- there's something so magical in that, the beauty of imperfection, of personality and familiarity.
Today I'm laying out a fresh palette of paint (almost as good as fresh sheets right?) and starting a new painting for Stardust & Fallen Petals. I had thought I was finished with them but there was an energetic block and finally I've worked out what it is- they are not done with me so on to painting a few more starting with a revisit of the Lovers inspired by my Tarot Journal page.Galia Alenahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15899377973978636345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010332653623617391.post-79500146349634770702017-05-10T12:32:00.001+10:002017-05-10T12:32:05.319+10:00Final Reflections on the Sketchbook Challenge- last 10 days

I've come to the end of this challenge and while I've loved the practice, I'm also really looking forward to liberating this sketchbook from the table with the camera and setting it free into the wild as a sketchbook should be. I'm also looking forward to some art journaling and am wondering how to incorporate both practices into my limited time. I'm also curious to see how some of things I've played with in my sketchbook will emerge on the journal page.

I had been thinking about another challenge involving art journaling and yoga but luckily I've had an intervention and will be busy for awhile with Gillian Lee Smith's Portraits- Your Way, Your Art. Her work is truly inspiring and her classes are comprehensive and so generous. I've been following her journey for a few years now and her own work has leaped and bounded in ways that have been magical to watch- really looking forward to how she will stretch me. Thank you Gillian Xx

What I'm noticing now:

Practice does not make perfect (at least not in the time I have for it), but that's ok, perfect is over rated and boring.

I could paint something in less time than it takes to draw something and there are way more places to hide ;) .

Drawing helps you to see- to see what is really there not what you think is there, or how you think it should look.

So easy to over work watercolours.

I need to practice more.

My lines are still wobbly and lacking in confidence.

The aftermath in my studio is much easier to clean up after drawing than playing in the mixed media domain.

I need to practice more.

Videos for each day can be found over on my Youtube channel here.

Final thoughts on Challenge:
This is not the first challenge that I've undertaken. They have been really useful to keep me motivated and creating during times when Iife is distracting me from my creative endevours. However I've come to not like the word "challenge"- it suggests hardship, struggle, fight, pushing through and defence. While I will continue to do these sorts of stretches on my practice, I'm going to reframe them and rename them more in alignment with my path, and with more ease and grace. So I'm looking for a word to replace "challenge"- do you have one?
Final notes on material:

I used a Moleskine Art Plus Sketchbook which has an off white colour but not as much as their regular sketchbook. The paper had mixed feelings with the watercolour, it sits on top not really transitioning well but doesn't show on the other side. Inks, on the other hand, like my Elegant writer, did. The paper was also quite buckled so if any wet media went on the page the other side would be tricky to draw on. The paper also doesn't have any tooth for pencil work. Nice and smooth for pen work, I mostly used Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers enjoying the 0.3 the most.
I'm planning to try some other journals when I finish this one. Do you have a favourite? I'd love to hear in the comments, along with why. I love these
From my research the Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks sound really good, even if they have so many options to choose from. I think I'll try one or two of these- first to finish off this one :)

What I'm noticing now:

I'm wanting to take my sketchbook off the table, away from the camera and into the wild- particularly for the sketch of the house.

I'm not good at painting kittens, which shouldn't surprise be since I've never done it before- we all have to start somewhere.

I'm building confidence in what I can tackle (kitten above case in point)- just starting and giving it ago is the biggest gift to creativity.

Showing up, pushing through and building up marks results in something.

Mistakes get hidden or obscured by the end result, or they add character and don't matter so much in the end.

Drawing takes up as much time as a painted journal page can.

I love mixing mediums.

I'm excited to see what's next.

Some pages can stretch over two days ;)

I'm still playing with styles and ways.

When I start these challenges I wonder about my sanity- committing to
add something else to my already overflowing plate. Yet there is this
way that the challenges push me to do a daily practice which I can not
maintain daily except for these short stints. And with daily practice come growth, just a little, bit by bit growth, but it adds up; I don't see it daily but at the end of the 30 days there's a small body of work that stretched the muscles, found new ways and explored the edges.

Practice-
The mere act of the challenge provides an opportunity to practice the
craft. With practice comes more confidence and with confidence comes a
boldness and a looseness that frees your work- sometimes you have to go tight in order to find loose.

Expansion-
Showing up everyday to the challenge means that eventually you get
bored or exhausted of your usual go tos and you end up trying something
new, experimenting, pushing the edges of your comfort and routine.

Discernment-
The daily practice allows you to try new things, new ways, new mediums
and tools, new mark making, new combinations and so on. It provides as
opportunity to learn what you like and what you don't like, what works
with your style and what works with your voice.

What I'm noticing so far:

One line may look wobbly and imperfect or a mess but add it in with a whole slue of other messy lines and you have something - keep going.

Sketching slows you down.

The camera rolling wants me to rush and I have to consciously slow down and bring myself present to the practice.

Sketching brings attention, makes you look closer, makes you notice things.

I like the balance of the "careful" line work dancing with the freedom of the watercolours.

I'm getting to know my favourite pen and brush.

I like mixing pens and mediums.

I'm excited to see what's next.

I'm curious to try a different journal with a different paper next time ( one that takes the watercolour better).

Watercolour tests my patience but also offers a chance to hit the mat.

I’ve begun another challenge- this time a Sketchbook Challenge.

Seems I like to start a new challenge when I’m life is getting busy, as if I won’t have time to show up to the blank page or canvas swept along by life. The challenge brings me to the page for practice, practice for practice’s sake, and experimentation, unencumbered by making a “piece”. Always muscles are stretched and strengthened, always there is growth, always there are discoveries, and always it is a challenge to show up each day with life doing life.

I have to admit I'm a bit nervous, the last challenge was both a blessing and came at a really sad time for my family- I missed a day or two, but the practice served to hold me during that time when I was at a bit of a loss, as practices tend to do.

This challenge will be in my sketchbook. I will be practicing various sketching & drawing, watercolours & goauche, typography & text and I'll be playing with various mediums and combinations to see what I like. I'm curious to see all the ways I can show up in my sketchbook to explore what catches my attention. And so I begin in Wonder.

Let’s see how this one unfolds and where it leads me.

I'll be posting videos daily over on here on my Youtube channel & will be back at the end of the week with an update on how I'm going.

Join me if you like. Bhuvaneswari has been with me for awhile now, creating some beautiful
spaciousness and showing me just how connected to the heart she is, its
one of her gifts, HEART EXPANSION, how beautiful right?

She is
the Mother of all Mothers, Great Mother, Cosmic Yoni- she births the

thoughts, the breaths and the music itself.
Hope to see you in circle.

I took an at home retreat, a week either side of the still point of Solstice. Lots of space was created for this retreat and Bhuvaneshwari arrived and planted many beautiful seeds of possibilities into this space. This Story Keeper figure below was one of the creations that emerged from this space, as well as a new knit scarf, many journal pages and lots of reading- I will share more soon). Most of what was created was not what I had imagined. Tell me, I'm wondering what you would like to make space for and what might manifest that you haven't yet imagined?

Magic, right?

When I saw Pixie Lighthorse's "We stand for you" #artistsforlove image and call I knew that my emperor warrior, sacred masculine, protector of the forest, of life, of love, wanted to stand for all, including water, #waterislife. In her words:
"Artists For Love is on a mission to create a big wave of solidarity, sending a message of hope and healing to those who are feeling alone, afraid, ostracized, carrying fear about their bodies, health benefits, access to clean water, and their place in this country’s economy.
I believe that there are few things more powerful than a group of love-minded people who have decided to use their platforms collectively to create a strong statement of unwavering indivisibility, what Lincoln referred to as “preserving the Union”. Those of us who may have had an easier time enjoying our rights must step up our game to protect those who are struggling to establish and hold on to theirs. Though many of us have very different concerns and priorities, and may not understand where the other is coming from, we can take the opportunity to honor one another as humans." Pixie Lighthorse
{Pick a Card- Super Full mOOn Reading} Hello loves, I hadn’t planned
on doing another one of these collective readings this year but, well,
things don’t always go to plan.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say
it again, Rumi got it wrong, the wounds are not how the light gets in,
the wounds are how our light gets out, you are already filled with
light, so much light, time to let it shine out.

When the name Stardust and Fallen Petals came to me it was a working title, I didn’t really
understand the meaning at the time but I now see how we are all fallen
petals who have forgotten that we are made of star light. Some of us are
feeling as fragile as fallen petals right now and are scrambling to
reconnect to our light. So many of us are wounded and grieving and not
sure how to move forward- some of us will rage and anger loudly tearing
down, others will be the soft balm that invites across bridges, some
will be the flame lighting a plethora of flames that they never go out,
others will tend to their own inner shadow work, healing themselves,
some of us will heal others-all of it rippling outward. All of it is
needed, all of it is right, all of it. If you are not sure what now or
how to move forward, if you are not sure how to steady yourself then
this is for you.

Take a
deep breath, find your center and see which card is calling you (name it
in the comments, name whatever else you need to name or know). These readings will
be full of love and a blessing for our collective well being, they will
be a guide to your own knowing and to help you steady your footing. In
love always Xx

You can find the cards and the audio to the reading here.

13 Moons Readings for 2017 are now available here. Moving through the year with an awareness of the moon cycles is a beautiful way to connect with divine feminine energy and honour your path. It also a beautiful way to connect in with the energy of each moon cycle and the seasons. These readings will look at each moon for the year, drawing two cards for each moon cycle to sit in dialogue with each other and with the energy around that moon. Together they will offer insight to guide you throughout that lunar cycle.

I have a gift for you, a warm invitation, a free offering: Circling with Bhuvaneshwari. I know so many women are wondering what Circling with the Goddess is all about, and its hard to explain the magic that takes place in the circle when we invoke the Goddess, when we invite her to walk with us, to guide us, to bestow her gifts upon us, to embody her, to acknowledge the divine feminine within each of us. Its equally hard to explain the energetic created and magnified by gathering in circle with other women, each holding the others in their highest potential and beauty, each witnessing and holding space for the collective. And who better to guide us through this than Bhuvaneshwari, Great Mother, Cosmic Yoni, Space Holder, Creatrix of all.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">"You are not just a drop in the ocean, you are the mighty ocean in the drop.”
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Rumi

Do you feel the truth in that? This is Bhuvaneshwari's truth, or one of the many paradoxical truths she holds, great holder that she is.

When I was working with Lakshmi I could sense Bhuvaneshwari stepping forward to work with us next, so imagine my surprise when I was checking in to meet the Pantheon of Goddess for 2017 to discover she wasn't one of them. I was sure she would be next, but Saraswati, Cerridwen, Kali and Artemis were very clear that they would be the Pantheon for 2017 and who am I to argue with the will of the Goddess. A couple of weeks later Bhuvaneshwari made it clear that she wanted to hold space for all the women who were curious about what these Goddess Circles were all about. Seems perfect that the Goddess of Space Holding, of all possibilities, of all creation would step forward to play with us in this way. I'm so excited for this circle, not many know this powerful deity but I feel her wrapping her arms around us already. Are you ready to lean into her embrace?

I'm so excited to be announcing the Pantheon of Goddess for 2017- there was so much magic created with the Goddess Circle this year as we dove into the gifts of Kuan Yin, Persephone & Lakshmi, and I know the Goddesses who stepped forward to work with us next year bring some deep and power magic.
Are you curious?? Pop over and have a look, I'm so curious to see how they will speak to you.

Last week I put a call out on Facebook wondering what you might call a gathering of Goddess other than a Pantheon and I got so many gorgeous responses, here are just a few:

A Glory of Goddess
A Murder of Goddesses (like crows)
An Embrace of Goddesses
A Devotion of Goddesses,
A Cascade of Goddesses,
A Vivacity of Goddesses,
A Universe of of Goddesses,
A Wildness of Goddesses,
An Elevation of of Goddesses,
A Splendor of Goddesses
A Reverence of Goddesses,
A Celebration of Goddesses,
An Exaltation of Goddesses,
An Honor of Goddesses,
A Brilliance of Goddesses,
& of course, Home, Tribe and Women

I love an Exaltation of Goddess, which one resonates with you?

And the Pantheon for 2017:
I've come to see Lakshmi as the Goddess of Yumminess as we've walked
together over the last few months. More than that I have come to see how
she lives within with her beauty, abundance and generosity; beauty, abundance and generousity which is mine. When the
practice runs deep we get to realize our embodiment of the Sacred
Feminine, in all her varied forms. By spending time with each of her
many manifestations we spiral ever closer to the divinity within.
Circling with the Goddesses is an
invitation. An invitation to invite the Goddess in, to sit with her, to
listen to her, to dialogue with her, to embody her wisdom, to explore
her lessons and to seek where she dwells within. In circle we do it in
community, gathering outside the linearity of time and space, amplifying
the energy. Practicing with the Goddesses allows us to access the
divine and sacred powers of the various archetypes that reside in each
of us. Communion with a particular goddess connects us more deeply with
that aspect within ourselves.

It is a first for me but it just felt right with Lakshmi, it honours her energy and I like to believe that perhaps she herself whispered the idea into my ear when she stepped forward to work with us.

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Circling with the Goddesses sessions are a way of dialoguing with and collaborating with the deities. Lakshmi is the goddess of abundance, an abundance of giving and an abundance of receiving. Offering up this circle as a Pay What You Feel was a way of really inviting Lakshmi into a relationship of co-creation- co-creation between myself and the participants and Lakshmi. It honours both the giving and the receiving as we each get to show up in our own generosity, allowing ourselves to both give and receive.

Often giving is easier than receiving, we can give from our hearts whatever we have, we are taught that to give is “better” than taking. This gives us immense pleasure and yet it can also drains us. Often as women we give more than we have and if our self care practice isn’t healthy, that is we are not giving to ourselves, then we don’t take the time to refill in order to be able to give more. For this we need to allow ourselves to receive, to fill up our baskets. Both the giving and the receiving are part of the flow and there is a balance between the two, a dance if you like. I’m quite sure that the giving and receiving are not separate things, on first glance they may feel like opposites, but that is to dismiss the gift it is to allow someone the pleasure of giving to you or the intrinsic role that they both play in the flow of life. So lets not think of them separately, lets think of them as the same.

Flow ♥ Energy Exchange ♥ Love ♥ Dance ♥ Gratitude ♥ Great Fullness

Let’s allow it to flow, let’s invite the flow, let’s dance in the flow

And its a LEAP OF FAITH
It requires TRUST. Trust that all who show up are moving from their own heart’s and integrity. Oh, I trust this, the women who circle with me are full of heart and integrity.
It’s a gift, holding these circles for these women.
It’s a gift to see how the journey unfolds for them, to witness their transformations.
It’s a gift to have my own experience with the goddess amplified by the power of the circle.

Do you find joy in giving? Do you find joy in receiving? Do you dance in the flow of life?
